Easy Baked Lemon Dill Salmon

This baked lemon dill salmon is bright, fresh, and incredibly simple to make. With just a few ingredients and under 20 minutes of cook time, it’s a perfect weeknight dinner that still feels a little fancy.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 ½ tbs olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbs fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbs chopped fresh dill
  • Lemon slices for topping
  • Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard or 1 tsp honey

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the mixture over the salmon fillets. Top with fresh dill and lemon slices.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite sides and extra lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

* To make this recipe dairy-free and gluten-free, no swaps are needed!
* Leftover salmon can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently or enjoy cold over salads or bowls.
